Low Voltage Variable Frequency Drives

WEG’s CFW line of Variable Speed Drives offer full control options of both Single Phase and Three Phase electric power with voltages of 208-230V, 460V or 575V.

CFW 08 Plus

The WEG CFW 08 Plus Vector Series is one of the most compact and full featured microdrives in the marketplace. Outstanding features and options in a NEMA 1 enclosure allow the CFW08 Plus to be successfully used in a large variety of applications. Available from 0.25 HP up to 20 HP in single phase (230V) and three phase (230V, 460V or 575V).

CFW 10

The WEG Digital CFW10 VFD Series is an offspring of the very successful CFW08 Plus. In addition to a very small, easily mounted package, simplified keypad and bright LED readout, complete diagnostics and fully programmable I/O, the CFW10 controls three phase AC motors with a single phase AC input. Single phase 120V AC input voltage will produce three phase 230V to drive motors up to 1 HP and single phase 230V AC will produce three phase 230V to drive motors up to 3 HP. Increased flexibility and decreased costs are achieved by eliminating the need for a step-up transformer to operate three phase 230V AC motors when only single phase 115V is available. The CFW10 is an economical solution to many industrial and commercial applications.

CFW 09

The CFW 09‘s Vectrue Technology™ combines V/F, Sensorless Vector and Closed Loop Vector (with encoder) control techniques, all in one product. Optimal Braking™ eliminates the need for the dynamic braking resistor in some applications allowing a simple, more compact and economical solution. The WEG CFW 09 is available from 1.5 HP up to 600 HP in single phase (230V) and three phase (230V, 460V or 575V).

CFW 11

The WEG CFW-11 is a new generation of inverters with state-of-the-art technology for three-phase induction motor control. Aimed at increasing the productivity for its customers, this new line offers many innovations. The CFW11 frequency inverter incorporates Plug and Play technology automatically recognizing and configuring accessories and options used, enabling easy installation and safe operation while eliminating manual configuration. A USB port makes connecting to, programming and monitoring the device simpler. A built-in memory card lets user create functions without the need for an external PLC.

CFW 11M Modular Drive

The CFW-11M Modular Drive is the new generation of WEG frequency inverters for elevated powers. It is available in powers from 400 to 2500 HP and voltages from 380 to 690 V, with 6 and 12 pulse input rectifier.

NEMA 4 Enclosures

Many applications also require increased protection from dust and water.  For this reason the WEG CFW-08 Plus, CFW-09 and CFW-11 inverters are also available with NEMA 4 Enclosures. Pamensky’s Panel Shop in Toronto can also provide control systems in enclosures suited to the needs of different applications.

Medium Voltage Variable Frequency Drives

WEG Medium Voltage Variable Frequency Drives are designed with the state of the art technology and use a multilevel structure with high voltage IGBT’s (6.5kV) reducing the motor harmonic currents to extremely low levels. The input rectifier configuration with 12-pulse or 18-pulse results in high power factor fully meeting IEEE-519 requirements.

The MVW-01 is designed with multiprocessing control architecture and uses a 32-bit high performance processor (64-bits bus) with floating-point capability, ensuring a high performance control of the drive and motor. The MVW-01 follows the same programming philosophy of the LV WEG drive, resulting in a simple speed variation solution for MV applications. The MVW-01 drives introduce remarkable innovation on the segment of medium voltage speed variation, combining robustness, simplicity, reliability and safety in a compact solution with the latest generation technology.

Custom Panels

V.J. Pamensky Canada Inc. is now producing Custom Panels in the Toronto Panel Shop.  Enclosed Drive Panels and custom VFD panel solutions built to customer specification are now available with quick turnaround and with WEG and Pamensky’s commitment to quality and service.

The Enclosed Drive Panel is an industrial general purpose AC motor control and protection package.  It is designed for simple and quick installation and start-up, requiring only input power and output motor connections. The Enclosed Drive Panel is built to complement the ruggedness and reliability of WEG electric motors, providing a complete, simple, and cost effective AC motor control, monitor and protection solution.
