WEG / VJP is a proud sponsor of the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Electro-Mechanical Authority EASA, Western Canada Chapter held at Manteo Resort Waterfront Hotel, Kelowna, B.C. on April 26-28, 2019.

The EASA Western Canada is a Chapter of EASA International (Electrical Apparats Service Association). Their mission is to help its members enhance their performance and achieve greater levels of success through education, information and networking opportunities. EASA is a dynamic, professional trade organization that is recognized internationally as the leader in the electrical and mechanical apparatus sales, service and repair industry. EASA provides an ongoing flow of industry information and education that helps members worldwide serve as total solution providers for electrical and mechanical systems.

The 2019 EASA Western Canada AGM will include a series of technical seminars hosted by EASA Technical Support Specialist Mike Howell. Theses technical seminars provides a great opportunity for International training for EASA members. One of the key highlights of EASA Western Canada Chapter AGM are the further discussion on Electrical Testing of Three-Phase Motors which will cover Incoming and post-disassembly tests, In-process tests, Pre- and post-assembly tests & Explanations of the applied tests and how to interpret the results and more. Another key highlight is the presentation of Root Cause Failure Analysis focus on Winding & Rotor Failures.
